"Great!!! Staff is so wonderful. Dr. Durbin did a great job with my daughters teeth. She has a beautiful smile."- T.P. / Google / Aug 20, 2017
"The professionals working at Kentucky Orthodontics and Invisalign were nothing short of phenomenal from my very first visit to my last. Everyone was very personable and welcoming from the orthodontists, to the dental hygienist, to the front desk receptionists. Each session the orthodontists and dental hygienists were very thorough with my treatment plan and made the necessary adjustments to ensure that I didn’t just have a good smile but a great smile. As with anything in life, the amount of work that you put in will ultimately determine your final outcome. My particular treatment was Invisalign which required me to wear my retainers 20-22 hours per day. I’ll admit at times it wasn’t easy but i knew that if I followed the individualized treatment plan provided to me that I would ultimately achieve my desired smile. Now that I have completed the treatment I can honestly say that I couldn’t be more happy with my smile and it’s all thanks to the professionals at Kentucky Orthodontics and Invisalign! I would highly recommend Kentucky Orthodontics and Invisalign to anyone wanting to achieve a great smile!"- B.E. / Google / Nov 06, 2018
"Dr. Durbin asked me to write a review up after my treatment had started and finished, but I was so impressed with the entire staff that I am writing a review now. I highly recommend this office, even though I currently have nothing being done to my teeth. They are very professional and friendly. Can't wait to see how great my teeth look."- D.A. / Google / Oct 30, 2018
"I’ve been a patient of Dr. Durbin’s for going on 10 years now, and am continuously impressed with the services he has provided (braces, invisalign, retainers, etc.), the friendly office staff and the welcoming environment. If you have been searching for an orthodontist, look no further! Dr. Durbin and his team truly care about each patient’s long term success and work hard/efficiently to ensure positive results are achieved. Dr. Durbin and staff, thank you for giving me a smile I am more than proud to show off!"- R.L. / Google / Oct 19, 2018
"As a person who had Conventional braces as a teenager and didn’t wear my retainer as I should, I found later in life that due to grinding my teeth and dealing with Trigeminal Neuralgia my teeth had shifted and I was unhappy with the results. Drs. Durban, Morris and staff provided me with Invisalign’s. They are so knowledgeable, caring and considerate. I was able to get my teeth straightened with Invisalign’s and they had the knowledge to deal with a rotated tooth and bring it back into line. I am so happy with the results and glad I made the call to Kentucky Orthodontics & Invisalign to change the way I feel about my teeth and smile!!"- P.K. / Google / Sep 16, 2018
ClearCorrect Vs. Invisalign
The first question patients usually ask us when visiting our orthodontic practice is what is the difference between ClearCorrect and Invisalign? As a top Invisalign provider, we have experienced fabulous results time and time again with both Invisalign and ClearCorrect. Although there are minor differences between the two, the final decision ultimately relies on personal preference. The main differences between the two are:
- Is often more affordable than Invisalign
- Retainer at the end is often free
- Aligners are manufactured in the United States
- The plastic material may not be as comfortable as Invisalign's
- Typically more expensive than ClearCorrect
- The cost of the retainer is often an additional cost
- Aligners are manufactured offshore
- The smart track plastic material offers greater comfort than ClearCorrect
When you come into our office for a ClearCorrect consultation, our orthodontists can discuss the differences further and answer all your questions to determine if ClearCorrect is the best choice for you.
What to Expect
Once you chose ClearCorrect, our orthodontists will take digital X-rays of your teeth and jaws, plus dental impressions that will be used to make your ClearCorrect aligners. Once we receive your aligners, we will schedule a fitting appointment. Generally, you can expect to have follow-up appointments every 2 weeks. During this time, we will check on your progress and issue replacement aligners as your teeth and bite change. If you lose or damage one of your aligners, just give us a quick call and we can have replacement aligners made so that you can continue treatment without waiting until your next appointment. Depending on the position of your teeth and the amount of correction needed, your prescribed orthodontic care could last 12 – 24 months (or 3 – 8 phases of treatment).
Our orthodontists will require regular visits for checkups to document your progress and to make adjustments as needed. It is also very important to keep your teeth and the ClearCorrect aligners clean so that you do not end up with tooth decay. Brushing your teeth, flossing, and using mouthwash after you take the aligners out to eat is a good habit to start along with rinsing or cleaning the aligner before putting it back in your mouth. You should also store your aligners in their designated protective case during meal times to prevent aligners from being lost.
