Meet Dr. Morris
As a licensed Kentucky Orthodontist, Dr. Lauren D. Morris performs a wide variety of orthodontic specialty treatments at Kentucky Orthodontics & Invisalign all across the state. To treat her many patients, Dr. Morris frequently travels to Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort, Georgetown, Winchester, Mount Sterling, Owingsville, Richmond and Nicholasville. Through attentive personal care and one-on-one consultations, Dr. Morris is able to create unique treatment plans that improve the oral health and aesthetics of all her patients. Her attention to detail and expert training allow her to provide the best outcomes, which is why so many patients visit her for orthodontic care.
Skills & Specialties
As an Orthodontic Specialist, Dr. Morris treats many conditions, including crowding, "bad bites" between the upper and lower teeth, spacing issues, and other conditions that pertain to the dentofacial structures. Her areas of expertise include the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of dental malformations. The treatments she performs are designed to improve and maintain optimum contact, alignment, spacing, and movement between the teeth and jaws. Dr. Morris is highly-skilled in the following procedures: Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, self-ligating braces, surgical orthodontics, snoring and sleep apnea treatment, athletic mouth guards, Red, White and Blue aligners, space maintainers, laser gingivectomy, and dentofacial orthopedics.
Educations & Training
Dr. Morris received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in biology from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY. She then continued her education at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree and graduated with high distinction. She acquired her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and certificate in orthodontics at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, KY. Afterwards, she decided to stay in the Bluegrass state to partner with Kentucky Orthodontics & Invisalign.
